Dear Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Supporters,
As I near the end of my first year as Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é’s President, I am proud of the incredible progress made at the College and grateful for the support I’ve received from the Greater Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Community.
It has been an honor getting to know many of you over the past 11 months. Whether I met you at a Meet and Greet session, spoke with you at a community gathering, received your written correspondence, or engaged with you at an Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é event, your genuine affection for the College and our students was clear and paramount. I am confident that as long as we continue to collaborate, Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é will thrive.
While I have spent the first year of my presidency learning more about Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é, identifying strengths, and developing plans for the future, I am proud of what the College has accomplished. Thanks to MassEducate & MassReconnect, or Free Community College for All, enrollment increased by 30% from fall 2024 to fall 2025! The College also completed its 10-year accreditation visit with NECHE in April, held the first-ever Hackathon in February, and made significant progress developing the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan throughout the spring semester. Perhaps most importantly, during an uncertain time at the federal level, Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é remained true to its values and commitment to providing a safe, welcoming environment for all students.
In this edition of the Gazette, you will learn more about what makes Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é a unique, future-proof institution. I encourage you to dive into this issue to familiarize yourself with our efforts to enhance career services, meet the new executive leadership team, hear directly from our students and faculty succeeding in STEM, business, and healthcare, and more!
